Karavai. Concert of Ivan Kirchuk.

A unique concert program based on Belarusian folk culture by the famous ethnographer Ivan Kirchuk. Participants will revive the celebration of an ancient wedding: songs, instruments (pipe, akaryna, zhaleyka, gusli, lira, dud) and the humor of Gypsy poetry. The program is enriched with performances of wedding songs and vivid stories about traditions, matchmaking, the wedding loaf (karavai) and Belarusian family culture. Ideal for young people who are planning to start a family, to honor another linguistic heritage, and to expand the Belarusian genetic code. Some songs will be performed from the new albums 'Heritage', 'Vazhbyt' and 'Not Confused in the Past Year'. A real wedding loaf is promised!
